Job Description

Duties:

??Walk dogs on a regular basis, ensuring their safety and wellbeing ??Provide exercise and mental stimulation for dogs during walks ?Train basic dog behaviors and maintain existing behaviors while on walks ??Follow specific instructions from pet owners regarding their dog's care and behavior ??Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste properly ??Monitor the health and behavior of dogs while on walks and report any concerns to the pet owner ??Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor with both dogs and their owners
Qualifications:

??Experience in animal handling, such as working in a kennel, as a veterinary assistant, or in dog training Animal training experience is preferred, but not required ??Knowledge of basic pet care, including feeding, grooming, and administering medication ??Ability to handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments safely and confidently ??Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners and provide updates on their dog's well-being ??Physical stamina to walk multiple dogs for extended periods of time ??Reliable transportation to travel to different locations for dog walking assignments Please note that this is a part-time position with flexible hours.
Compensation will be discussed during the interview process and decided upon based on experience level of applicants.

We offer dog training along with our walks. Previous animal training experience is preferred, but we will have you work closely with our staff in the beginning to learn the training skills that you'll need.

You have the freedom to bring in as many walks as you are comfortable completing each week. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, reliable and interested in participating in the profits of a quickly expanding positive reinforcement dog training and walking business in the Naples community.
