DOG KENNEL TECHNICIAN: YOUR SCHEDULE
Our team works every day of the year from
6 AM to 9 PM
. You need to have a flexible schedule and be available most weekends and holidays.
YOUR DAY
As a Dog Kennel Technician, you will spend your day caring for the animals at our lodge. You will feed and water them, give medications when needed, and keep kennels and play areas clean. You will watch for any changes in their health or behavior and report them. You will also give the pets exercise and social time, help with check-in and check-out, and assist with grooming, like baths, brushing, and nail trims. Part of your day will include talking with pet owners about their pets and keeping up with cleaning tasks such as laundry and trash.
REQUIREMENTS FOR A DOG KENNEL TECHNICIAN
2+ years of dog boarding, dog daycare, or veterinary experience
Valid driver's license
Flexible schedule availability within 6 AM - 9 PM
Willingness to work on holidays and weekends
Strong attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset
Ability to lift 50 lbs and leash walk dogs up to 150 lbs
