Now Hiring: Animal Care Staff - Dog Boarding

Part-time | West Gloucester, MA

Tide Pool Pet Services is looking for dependable, experienced animal care staff to join our boutique boarding team. We run a small-scale, high-quality operation--and we're serious about cleanliness, reliability, and top-notch dog care.

Shifts Available (No Flexible Scheduling):

Sunday Mid Shift:

10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Monday Evening Shift:

5:00 PM -8:00 PM
You must be able to commit to a consistent schedule for both of these shifts.

What You'll Do:

Feed and medicate dogs based on individual instructions Clean kennels, bowls, and common areas thoroughly--cleaning is a major part of this job Handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments (must be able to lift 80 lbs) Work outdoors in all weather--rain, snow, mud, heat Follow detailed routines with zero cutting corners

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of professional animal care experience

in a

shelter, vet hospital, or boarding facility

(non-negotiable) Able to lift 80 lbs without assistance Must have

reliable transportation

--there is

no public transit

available Must be able to drive to work in all weather conditions Extremely reliable--our dogs depend on you to show up on time, every time Comfortable working solo and as part of a small, tight-knit team Must be technology literate, Google workspace experience is a plus
