Job Description

We are looking for dedicated, loyal and responsible dog caretakers who LOVE dogs and want to join our team! The ideal candidate will be confident around a large group of dogs and self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Must have common sense and the ability to follow a detailed schedule. Time management skills and punctuality are also necessary for the position. Please be drama free, and know how to communicate properly to peers and management. Pay is based on experience level.

We are open 7 days per week. Morning shift starts at 6:45am. The afternoon shift starts at 2 or 3pm until 10pm.

Dog Caretaker responsibilities include:

Taking dogs outside for bathroom and play time Cleaning up after them inside and outside Preparing food, feeding dogs and providing water Brushing and bathing dogs Interacting with clients Cleaning kennels, washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, snow shoveling, laundry and general cleaning inside and outside. MUST have reliable transportation Punctual, reliable and able to work weekends and holidays as needed A valid driver's license and a clean record for picking up and delivering dogs (in company vehicle), if hired for day shift. Great customer service skills Must live close to the Carmel/Mahopac area
