We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pet grooming, animal handling, and customer service, with the ability to provide exceptional grooming services while ensuring the safety and comfort of our furry clients. This role offers an opportunity to work in a compassionate environment dedicated to animal well-being and customer satisfaction. Prior experience with dog grooming is required. The Pet Groomer will play a vital role in maintaining the health and appearance of pets, contributing to their overall care and happiness.

Responsibilities

Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and nail clipping for dogs Handle animals safely and humanely using proper restraint techniques Assess each pet's coat condition and recommend appropriate grooming treatments Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools and work area in compliance with health standards Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and aftercare instructions Ensure the safety of animals during grooming sessions by applying animal handling best practices

Qualifications

Proven experience in pet grooming Graduate of grooming school preferred Ability to lift heavy pets safely (heavy lifting) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Compassionate attitude towards animals and their owners, with a commitment to providing high-quality care
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $29.01 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
