Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team. As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for dogs in our care. The ideal candidate will have experience in dog handling, pet care, and animal handling, with a strong focus on ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of our furry friends. Responsibilities:

- Provide a safe and clean environment for dogs in our care, including cleaning kennels and providing fresh water and food.
- Greet dogs and their owners, and ensure that all dogs are comfortable and happy during their stay.
- Monitor and supervise dogs to prevent any behavioral issues, and intervene when necessary.
- Administer medication and perform basic first aid when needed.
- Assist with dog transportation and exercise, including walking, running, or playing fetch.
- Maintain accurate records of dog care and any issues that may arise.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure that all dogs receive the care they need.
- Participate in regular training sessions to improve skills and knowledge in dog handling, pet care, and animal handling.

Skills:

- Experience in dog handling, pet care, and animal handling.
- Strong knowledge of animal behavior and restraint techniques.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Experience with veterinary assistant duties, including administering medication and performing basic first aid.
- Proficiency in pet sitting and animal care.
- Familiarity with kennel environments and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
