Coby's Cafe is dedicated to creating a warm and inviting haven for both people and their canine companions to enjoy coffee, treats, and good company with like-minded dog lovers.

Coby's Cafe is looking for an experienced barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is warm, friendly, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role requires quickly learning and remembering our numerous drink and food recipes, and consistently preparing them to our standards each time. Reliability and punctuality are essential, along with the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure. Candidates must be able to provide references from past cafe or service industry jobs.

Pay: $20.76 + tips ($21.30 + tips starting in January, 2026) Paid sick leave
Key Responsibilities

As a Barista:

Ensure a positive experience for customers by prioritizing their needs. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, teas, smoothies and light meals. Assist with setup, cleanup, and stock work of inventory. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Fulfill other duties the manager assigns. Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Prior food & beverage service experience. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Quick learning and adaptability to new processes. Proficiency in following operational manuals. Strong teamwork skills within a team-oriented environment. Professional demeanor under high stress. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays. Capability to lift up to 25 lbs.
