Documents & Item Processing Supervisor
, you will be the working leader responsible for ensuring that the Bank's item processing, document imaging, mail, and inventory functions operate with precision, consistency, and accountability.

What You Bring to the Table
Post-high school education with a business focus (preferred).
3+ years of experience in bank item processing, document imaging, or related operations roles.
Hands-on expertise with:
+ Item processing, adjustments, returns, chargebacks, and reconciliations;
+ Document imaging, scanning, indexing, and quality control;
+ Mail operations, inventory management, and courier coordination. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows-based processing systems.
Demonstrated supervisory experience leading a small team in a production environment.
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
Ability to sit for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 50 lbs., and maintain a valid driver's license.

What You'll Do to Be Successful

1.
Own Daily Processing Accuracy and Timeliness
Personally oversee and participate in daily item processing, file balancing, mail handling, document imaging, and inventory workflows.
Ensure end-of-day balancing, reconciliations, file transmissions, and system uploads are completed accurately and on time--every day.

2. Provide Strong, Visible Floor Leadership
Directly supervise staff performing item processing, document imaging, mail operations, and inventory fulfillment.
Set daily priorities, adjust workflows as volume fluctuates, and ensure coverage and accountability across all functions.

3. Ensure Compliance, Quality & Control
Enforce adherence to all operating procedures, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.
Monitor quality checks for scanned, indexed, and committed documents, ensuring accuracy, legibility, and correct classification.
Identify potential fraud, large-dollar risks, and exceptions--partnering closely with Risk Management and Deposit Services when needed.

4. Strengthen System & Vendor Operations
Oversee key processing platforms and workflows including item processing systems, source capture optimization, returns and chargebacks, document imaging, print and mail equipment, and inventory systems.
Monitor queues, error reports, file loads, and vendor performance--resolving issues quickly and escalating appropriately.

5. Support Process Improvement & Business Continuity
Partner with the Documents & Item Processing Manager to test system upgrades, refine procedures, and implement operational improvements.
Participate in business continuity planning and testing, including remote processing during inclement weather or BCP events.

6. Develop and Support Your Team
Train new and existing staff, provide coaching and feedback, approve timecards, and complete performance reviews.
Foster a culture of accuracy, ownership, professionalism, and open communication.
