About the Job:
They are seeking a highly motivated and passionate optometrist to help them provide excellent vision care services to their patients in long-term care facilities.
Some of the responsibilities include:
perform routine, comprehensive exams for glasses and contacts
perform dilated exams
provide diabetic evaluations
treatment of infection and injury
Repair and equip patients with eyeglasses
Proficient in diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease
Comfortable working with the geriatric population
Requirements
Ideal Candidate will:
Must hold an OD License
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have her/his own means of transportation
Must be willing to meet with 21-25 patients a day
Must be willing to travel to different nursing facilities
