DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Clerical Assistant 2 in the region 3 office, you will serve as the assistant to the District Manager, maintaining an appointment calendar, that will involve scheduling appointments and interviews. You will also have the opportunity to provide clerical support to multiple districts and counties within region 3. You will be responsible for prioritizing all electronic position action requests (EPARs) and ensuring they are accurate and completed in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for distributing performance evaluation reminders to all store personnel in the district, ensuring forms are completed and processed accurately. Exceptional communication skills are essential as you will be handling all correspondence from Central Office, Regional Office, store personnel, legislators, union representatives, and vendors.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Salary:
Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,108.00 (before taxes)

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);
or
Graduation from high school;
or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

You must pass a background investigation.
