In the role of a
Distribution Electrical Designer
, we'll count on you to
Support GIS tasks for electrical design projects
Assists as an Electrical Designer via ArcGIS or similar GIS software
Works under the direction of an Electrical Engineer and has a level of autonomy
Design and produce cartographic products for various purposes
Perform data input and editing of spatial data under minimal supervision using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
Conduct spatial analyses using ArcGIS or similar
Prepare spatial databases for projects and perform routine database management
Support field data collection using ArcGIS Online apps and associated data management
Prepare documented technical procedures
Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in medium voltage electrical design
Previous experience using RUS electrical standards

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Geography, Planning, Engineering, Natural Science or other closely related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience'
A minimum of 3 years practical GIS experience
Proficient using ArcGIS and other related GIS software for editing, database development, and map production
Strong cartographic skills
Proficient in the use of Microsoft 365 Apps
Requires attention to detail, effective time management, ability to work independently or with a team, and excellent written and oral communication skills
