Operations Specialist - Medical Marijuana Dispensary

Compensation:

$14.50 - $15.50/hour + tips (full-time)

We are seeking an

Operations Specialist

to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and flexible. The position focuses on providing exceptional customer service to our medical patients while also supporting inventory accuracy, compliance processes, and overall daily operations.

A strong candidate will be knowledgeable about cannabis products, comfortable budtending and assisting patients directly, and dependable in completing administrative and compliance-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Greet, engage, and assist patients with product recommendations based on their needs. Maintain a professional, welcoming atmosphere and uphold Canna Cure's service standards. Manage daily POS system operations, including processing transactions, inventory maintenance, and reporting. Maintain compliance with OMMA regulations, including accurate METRC tracking and reporting. Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments, inputting orders, and supporting audits. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely product delivery. Support scheduling, onboarding, and training of new staff as needed. Handle administrative tasks, including recordkeeping, reporting, and document management. Assist management in streamlining operational processes to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a regulated industry or cannabis dispensary. Familiarity with POS systems and inventory tracking software (experience with METRC is a plus). Strong organizational and administrative skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow compliance protocols. Flexible, proactive, and willing to take on multiple duties in a small team environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Must meet all requirements set by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA), including background check and employee credentialing.
