Due to recent expansion of our operations, we are hiring multiple, dynamic and customer-focused associates to join our TEAM

Home Pickup Service has been in business in South Florida for 41 years! Our operations operate and are staffed 7 days per week.

In conjunction with our Retail, Wholesale and Export Operations; we operate a fleet of trucks providing a pickup service for donations of furniture and household items serving residential and commercial locations.

We are seeking an experienced Dispatch Coordinator/Scheduler with a background in Logistics and/or Transportation Management. In addition, we are also hiring experienced Retail Management Personnel.

Prior Furniture Industry Experience, at any level, would be extremely helpful.

The ideal candidate will join a team and assist in dispatch operations ensuring efficient schedules. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to learn and use our existing transportation management systems. Prior furniture experience is highly preferred to facilitate seamless coordination within our overall operation.

Experience Any of The Following Area is Helpful

Assist with daily truck routing and schedules Utilize GPS tools to monitor vehicle locations and optimize routing for timely deliveries Communicate effectively with drivers, retail/warehouse staff, and clients via multi-line phone systems, ensuring clear and professional phone etiquette Assist with fleet management activities, including vehicle assignment and maintenance scheduling. Analyze transportation data to identify efficiencies in routing, delivery times, and overall supply chain performance. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during dispatching activities. Collaborate with logistics teams to plan transportation routes, manage freight loads, and coordinate shipping schedules.

Qualifications

Experience in dispatching within a furniture or logistics environment helpful Waste/Disposal Industry Experience Helpful Availability to work weekends is required Familiarity with GIS, GPS technology, and transportation planning tools Experience with freight coordination, shipping & receiving processes, and fleet management Proficient in data entry, typing skills, and multi-line phone systems Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
