Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher with the potential to be a Dispatch Manager depending on experience to oversee our transportation operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the dispatch team, ensuring efficient call times for multiple trucks, police contracts and private towing. Must maintaining effective communication with drivers and customers. This role requires a strong background in logistics and transportation, along with excellent analytical skills to optimize processes and improve service.

Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely and accurate towing services. Coordinate with drivers to establish efficient routes and schedules. Utilize GPS and transportation management systems to enhance route planning. Maintain communication with AAA, Police and customers regarding ETA and possible delays that may happen. Oversee the training and development of dispatch team members in best practices for logistics and customer service. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, rescheduling needs, and handling escalations professionally.

Skills

Proficient in Web fleet, TowBooks, MDM, Zillow and AAA. Experience in dispatching is a must. Excellent communication skills with a focus on phone etiquette. Ability to type efficiently while managing multi-line phone systems. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
