Role Overview

We're looking for a skilled, proactive, and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, deep knowledge of the trucking industry, and the ability to handle multiple loads and drivers efficiently under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, assign, and coordinate loads to drivers across regional and OTR lanes Track equipment, monitor driver hours, and ensure on-time pickups/deliveries Build and maintain strong relationships with drivers, brokers, and shippers Negotiate freight rates and manage load profitability Resolve on-road issues quickly and effectively Maintain accurate dispatch logs, driver schedules, and compliance reports Communicate closely with operations, safety, and accounting departments

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of dispatch experience in a trucking/logistics company Strong understanding of FMCSA/DOT regulations Familiarity with load boards (DAT etc.) and TMS software Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills Must be organized, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
