We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate transportation operations within our logistics team. The ideal candidate will manage freight movements, optimize routes, and ensure timely delivery using advanced transportation management systems. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in data entry, and the ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently. Salary will vary based on experience.

Duties

Coordinate and schedule freight shipments Utilize GIS and GPS tools for route planning Communicate with drivers and clients ensuring clear and professional phone etiquette. Monitor fleet movements and manage dispatching tasks to ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining compliance with safety standards. Track shipments through shipping & receiving processes, providing updates to stakeholders as needed. Maintain accurate data entry related to dispatch activities Assist with transportation planning, analysis, and problem-solving related to logistics operations

Requirements

Excellent analysis skills for route optimization and problem resolution Proficiency in data entry, typing skills, and managing multi-line phone systems with professional communication skills. Ability to handle dispatching tasks efficiently while maintaining high levels of organization under pressure. Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
