Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatcher to coordinate transportation operations efficiently. The ideal candidate will manage incoming calls, utilize cloud based management systems, and communicate effectively with drivers, clients, and internal teams. This role plays a critical part in ensuring timely arrival, optimizing fleet utilization, and maintaining high standards of customer service within a fast-paced towing environment.

Responsibilities

Maintain consistent shift reliability to ensure smooth operations Handle incoming non-emergency calls with professionalism and efficiency Stay calm under pressure and provide thorough and effective solutions to callers Accurately document all call details and dispatch information Communicate effectively with callers, tow truck operators, and the dispatch team Monitor and track tow trucks to ensure prompt response times Utilize basic computer and phone systems for dispatch operations Ensure customer satisfaction by following up with vehicle owners Complete and process abandoned vehicle paperwork in accordance with state and company regulations Stay informed about current legislation and state regulations related to towing and vehicle recovery

Experience

Proven experience in dispatching within a logistics or transportation environment is a plus. Familiarity with transportation management systems such as TowBook or Omadi preferred. Excellent analysis skills combined with proficiency in data entry and multi-line phone systems. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; professional phone etiquette is essential. Prior experience with towing or logistics coordination is advantageous.
