Dishwasher

Position Summary

The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. This position supports the culinary and service teams by ensuring all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned, sanitized, and ready for use while upholding food safety and sanitation standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment Operate dishwashing machines and hand-wash items as needed Maintain cleanliness of dish room, kitchen floors, trash areas, and back-of-house workspaces Properly handle, sort, and dispose of trash, recycling, and compost Assist with basic kitchen tasks such as receiving deliveries, stocking supplies, and light prep when requested Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards Communicate equipment issues or supply shortages to kitchen leadership Support kitchen and service staff during peak service times

Arrive on time and ready to work for scheduled shifts Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times Work efficiently and stay organized during high-volume service Demonstrate teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude Follow direction from the Chef, sous chef, director of F&B.

Qualifications

No prior experience required; training provided Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a fast-paced, wet, and warm environment Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physical Requirements

Standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive motions throughout the shift Exposure to heat, water, and cleaning chemicals Ability to safely handle kitchen equipment and supplies
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
