Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher and Kitchen Prepper to join our team. You will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our kitchen as well as preparing ingredients and following simple recipes. This is an entry-level position that offers an opportunity to gain experience in the food service industry.

Responsibilities:

- Clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment using the dishwasher or by hand

- Ensure all dishes are properly sanitized and stored

- Assist with basic food prep tasks, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients

- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, and floors

- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to sanitation guidelines

- Follow proper safety and hygiene procedures at all times

- Follow ingredient prep guidelines to prepare fresh ingredients

- Follow recipes to put together prepared salsas and guacamole

- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

Skills:

- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

- Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Team player with excellent communication skills

- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time
