Responsibilities

Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure a spotless environment. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs during busy service times. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including floors, counters, sinks, and storage spaces, adhering to health and safety regulations. Support catering and banquet events by preparing ingredients and ensuring all serving ware is ready for presentation. Bypass food handling hazards by following proper sanitation procedures and handling protocols at all times. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of prepared foods and maintain smooth workflow during peak hours. Help with bussing tables in dining areas when needed to promote a clean and welcoming environment for guests. Follow all food service guidelines and safety standards to uphold the integrity of food quality and hygiene.

Experience

Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with food handling, cleaning procedures, and basic food prep techniques is advantageous. Experience working in banquet settings or catering events is a plus. Knowledge of kitchen safety practices and sanitation standards is beneficial. Prior roles involving serving or hospitality duties can enhance your ability to excel in this position.
