Responsibilities
Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to meet health and safety standards
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup for service or catering events
Support bussing duties by clearing tables quickly and maintaining a tidy dining area during service hours
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, storage areas, and waste disposal zones to ensure a hygienic workspace
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of food service operations during busy periods or special events such as banquets or catering functions
Follow all food handling safety protocols and sanitation procedures diligently to uphold health regulations
Contribute to a positive team environment by demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward cleaning and organizational tasks
Experience
Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
Familiarity with basic kitchen operations such as bussing, food handling, or cleaning in hospitality settings is advantageous
Experience working at hotels or in catering environments can be beneficial but is not mandatory
Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures related to culinary environments is a plus
