We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher/Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests have an exceptional dining experience. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Assist in bussing tables by clearing dishes and resetting them for the next guests. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and cleaning surfaces. Support food preparation by assisting chefs with basic cooking tasks as needed. Ensure that all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods. Participate in banquet setups and breakdowns as required for special events. Provide excellent service by responding promptly to requests from servers and kitchen staff.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with bussing, food preparation, catering, and culinary tasks is highly desirable. Strong cleaning skills with an emphasis on maintaining a sanitary work environment. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere while also being self-motivated. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. A passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service is essential. Experience in hotel or banquet settings is a plus but not required.
