Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and providing excellent service to our guests.

Duties

Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all kitchen surfaces are free of debris. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including washing vegetables and preparing ingredients. Properly store clean dishes and utensils in designated areas to ensure easy access for kitchen staff. Dispose of waste and recycling according to health and safety regulations. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and assisting with the overall cleanliness of the dining area when necessary. Follow food safety guidelines for food handling and sanitation practices to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food service operations, including food preparation and handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards. Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic culinary environment.
