Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role focuses on maintaining a clean and organized work area by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. The position is ideal for individuals interested in the food service industry, with opportunities to gain experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Please note this position is limited to the work area only and does not involve relocation.

Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station and surrounding areas to ensure hygiene standards are met Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed, including bussing tables and clearing plates Support catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation compliance Assist with general cleaning duties in the kitchen and dining areas to uphold cleanliness standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service times

Skills

Experience or familiarity with food service operations, including restaurant, hotel, or catering environments Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation practices Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly Basic understanding of kitchen operations such as bussing, food preparation, and serving Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness Prior banquet or culinary experience is a plus but not required Hospitality experience is advantageous for understanding guest service expectations

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm
