Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is vital in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are sanitized and ready for use. Experience in food handling, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is highly valued.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates during meal service Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and prep work Ensure proper storage of clean items to prevent cross-contamination Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards Assist with general cleaning duties within the kitchen and dining areas to support overall cleanliness and organization Support catering events or banquet setups by providing timely dishwashing and cleaning services

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required for cleaning supplies and dishware handling A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role
Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
