What you'll do

Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and cookware are washed and sanitized efficiently. Assist with food preparation tasks, contributing to the overall success of meal service. Support banquet operations by preparing dishes for large events and ensuring timely service. Collaborate with kitchen staff to keep the kitchen clean and orderly, including bussing tables and cleaning surfaces. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times. Help with catering events by preparing necessary items and maintaining cleanliness during service. Participate in regular cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment and storage areas, promoting a safe work environment. Engage with team members to foster a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork and hospitality.

Basic qualifications

Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.

Preferred qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen environment. Familiarity with culinary practices, food service protocols, and sanitation standards. Experience in banquet or catering settings is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and organization.
