Responsibilities



Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold health and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and supporting kitchen staff during busy periods. Support catering and banquet events by providing clean dishware and assisting with setup or breakdown as needed. Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during cleaning processes to prevent contamination. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely availability of clean items for service. Follow all safety protocols related to chemical use and equipment operation to maintain a safe working environment. Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and organized workspace that supports efficient restaurant operations.

Qualifications



Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key! Familiarity with basic cleaning procedures and food handling practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Basic physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads such as trays or boxes. Knowledge of food safety standards or banquet experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
