Responsibilities
Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to meet health and safety standards
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as sorting ingredients or assembling items for service when needed
Support the cleaning of kitchen stations, dining areas, and equipment to uphold cleanliness standards
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow during busy service times and special events like banquets or catering functions
Handle food handling procedures responsibly by following safety protocols and hygiene practices
Maintain organization of dishware storage areas for easy access and inventory control
Contribute to a positive team environment by supporting fellow staff members in maintaining a clean and welcoming space
Skills
Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is highly valued
Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation procedures
Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and bending frequently
Strong attention to detail to ensure all dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized
Experience with bussing tables or assisting in food preparation is a plus
Knowledge of catering or banquet cleaning processes is advantageous
