We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by regularly cleaning floors, countertops, and food preparation areas. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients for cooking. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting dirty dishes to the dishwashing area. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is preferred, showcasing familiarity with kitchen operations. Knowledge of food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential for maintaining a safe working environment. Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is a plus, enhancing your ability to assist during busy service periods. Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to ensure all items are thoroughly washed and sanitized. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff members in delivering exceptional service. A background in catering or banquet service can be beneficial for understanding large-scale food service operations.
