Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently and promptly. Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support culinary staff. Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, kitchen floors, work surfaces, and storage areas to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing and setup assistance. Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service periods. Dispose of waste responsibly and manage recycling processes according to established guidelines.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or food service environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with basic kitchen operations including bussing tables or food prep is a plus. Experience working in banquet settings or large-scale catering events is advantageous. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety standards within a culinary or hospitality setting is beneficial. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments are essential for success in this role.
