We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our dynamic food service team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are sanitized and ready for use. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the hospitality industry and develop foundational skills in food service operations, including bussing, food preparation, and cleaning. Prior restaurant, catering, hotel, or culinary experience is a plus but not required. The Dishwasher will contribute to the overall efficiency and cleanliness of our establishment, supporting our commitment to exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates during service hours Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure compliance with health and safety standards Support catering events or banquet setups by providing timely dishware and utensil services Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met Assist with general cleaning duties throughout the kitchen and dining areas to uphold a high standard of cleanliness Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen operations Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required for dishware handling and cleaning tasks
