Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our food preparation efforts and contributing to a smooth operation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping and mopping floors regularly. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting cooks and chefs in the kitchen. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and sanitation practices. Support banquet or catering events by ensuring all service items are clean and ready for use.

Skills

Experience in food preparation or culinary environments is preferred. Knowledge of proper food handling techniques to ensure safety and hygiene. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks beyond dishwashing as needed. Previous experience in hotel or catering settings is a plus but not required.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
