Responsibilities

Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans to meet health and safety standards Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning properly Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies when needed Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen environment Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service operations Keep work areas organized, sanitized, and stocked with necessary cleaning supplies

Qualifications

Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food safety standards Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards supporting culinary operations Familiarity with catering or banquet experience is a plus but not mandatory Willingness to learn food handling practices and contribute to a fast-paced kitchen environment
