Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishware, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring a smooth flow of operations in a fast-paced food service environment. This role is essential in supporting the overall dining experience by providing clean tools and maintaining a hygienic kitchen area. Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality settings is preferred but not required. A positive attitude and attention to detail are key qualities for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Wash, sanitize, and store dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates as needed Support food preparation tasks such as basic food handling and prep work when required Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times Assist with general cleaning duties within the kitchen and dining areas Support catering and banquet events by managing dishware and cleaning needs during functions Follow proper procedures for handling food items to uphold hygiene standards

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if needed Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as necessary Experience with bussing, food preparation, or culinary activities is a plus but not required Previous hotel or banquet experience is advantageous but not essential
