Responsibilities

Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to uphold hygiene standards. Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as cleaning vegetables or organizing ingredients when needed. Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for service. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely clearing of tables and proper disposal of waste. Follow food handling safety procedures to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations. Help with general cleaning duties across the kitchen and dining areas to sustain a safe and welcoming environment. Support the team during busy service times by bussing tables and assisting with light food service tasks when required.

Experience

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is highly valued. Experience in food handling, catering, or banquet settings is a plus. Familiarity with kitchen operations such as bussing tables or basic food prep can be advantageous. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items safely.
