We are seeking a dedicated and efficient part time Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and cooking equipment to ensure a smooth and hygienic operation. This role is essential in supporting food service activities across various settings such as restaurants, hotels, catering events, and banquet facilities. Prior experience in food handling, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The Dishwasher plays a vital role in upholding high standards of cleanliness and safety within the kitchen environment. WesWings follows the academic calendar Sept-May. Off during the summer.
POSSIBLE HOURS: MON, WED, SAT 4:00- 8:30 PM
Responsibilities
Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods
Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper sanitation standards are met
Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas as needed
Ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning to prevent contamination
Follow safety protocols related to cleaning chemicals and equipment usage
Maintain a clean and organized work environment consistent with health regulations
Experience
Previous experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
Familiarity with food preparation, bussing, or kitchen cleaning duties is advantageous
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is a plus
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 - 15.0 per week
