Job Description

Job Summary:

The Dishwasher is responsible for making sure all dirty dishes are carried from the dining and employee break areas, and that the dishes are washed and then returned to the proper storage area.

DUTIES And Responsibilities

Assist with putting stock in proper areas on truck delivery days.

Assist with prep work- slicing tomatoes, dicing onions, pre- bag frozen items, etc., and putting stock in proper areas on truck delivery days.

Assist with the general daily cleaning of the kitchen areas to ensure a clean and safe work environment.

Meets attendance guidelines of the job, adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.

Attend all necessary training meetings and assist in other projects as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age upon employment.

High school diploma or its equivalent required.

Previous kitchen experience is preferred.

Must maintain impeccable personal hygiene and health standards.

Must be able to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.

Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Must maintain a valid Food Handler Permit.

Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Key license through the QNGA.

Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.

Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations.
