We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and organized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities

Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all equipment is in good working condition. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and food handling. Support the culinary team by bussing tables and ensuring that dining areas are clean and well-stocked. Participate in banquet services by preparing necessary items for events and ensuring timely service. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred; experience in catering or banquet services is a plus. Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation standards. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to assist with various tasks including cleaning, food preparation, and serving as needed. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when necessary.
