Drunken Cookies is a fast-paced, high-volume bakery in Old San Juan. We are known for our premium products and high standards. We are looking for a key team member who takes pride in cleanliness but is also

mechanically inclined

and eager to learn how to operate our production technology.

The Role:

This is a dual-role position. You will serve as the primary Dishwasher, ensuring our facility remains spotless, but you will also act as a Machine Operator Assistant. We use advanced food processing and packaging equipment. We need someone who is comfortable using tools to assemble, disassemble, clean, and run these machines.

Key Responsibilities:

Sanitation:

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, trays, and production utensils efficiently.

Machine Maintenance:

Daily assembly and disassembly of food production and packaging machinery for cleaning.

Operation:

Assist the production team by operating automated equipment during cookie production runs.

Troubleshooting:

Identify minor mechanical issues (jams, sensor alignments) and perform basic adjustments to keep production moving.

Facility Care:

Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, and storage areas; manage waste and recycling.

Who We Are Looking For:

Mechanically Inclined:

You are comfortable around machinery and tools. You understand that machines need to be assembled with precision to work correctly.

Reliable:

You show up on time, every time.

Physical Stamina:

You can lift 50+ lbs (bags of flour, mixing bowls) and stand for long periods.

Bilingual:

Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish is preferred.

Flexible:

Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
