Hiring Immediately: Dishwasher at The Village Tavern

The Village Tavern is Kennebunk's go-to spot for hearty meals, friendly vibes, and a team that feels like family. We're looking for a dishwasher to join our busy kitchen crew--someone who takes pride in their work and keeps our operations running smoothly!

No dish left behind! As a dishwasher at The Village Tavern, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen. We're open to seasoned dishwashers or motivated beginners who can hustle, learn fast, and maintain our high standards for cleanliness and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans.
- Assist with basic food prep (chopping, stocking, etc.).
- Keep dish station and kitchen areas clean and OSHA-compliant.
- Support kitchen staff during peak hours to ensure seamless service.
- Empty trash and help with closing duties.

Requirements:
- No experience needed (we'll train you!), but prior dishwashing is a plus.
- Must be able to hustle and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong work ethic and team-player attitude.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), and work in a hot kitchen.

Schedule:
- Evening shifts (4:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
- Weekend availability required

Experience:
- Dishwashing: 1 year (preferred but not required)
- Restaurant environment: 1 year (a plus)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
