Responsibilities

Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using industrial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper disposal of waste. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff. Help with bussing tables by clearing away used dishes and utensils promptly. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Skills

Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Willingness to assist in various roles within the kitchen, including food preparation and cooking when necessary. A positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service in a restaurant or hotel setting.
