Duties:
- Wash dishes, flatware, pots, and pans by hand
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing area
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste appropriately
- Follow proper sanitation procedures to ensure food safety
-Accept and inspect food deliveries.
Qualifications:
-Complete and obtain ServSafe certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects as needed
- Experience working in a kitchen or food service environment but not required
- Familiarity with bussing tables and clearing dishes
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices
