Job Summary


Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dish Washer and Utility Worker, where your enthusiasm for food service and hospitality will shine! In this vital role, you'll assist in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. You will be responsible for cleaning dishes in a food service environment to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pots, pans and glasses. Your duties will also include prioritizing loads of different types of crockery and kitchenware, hand-washing dishes, loading the dishwasher and placing dishes to dry.

In addition, you may be asked to assist with:

Unloading Truck and stocking supplies Taking garbage and trash to dumpster area Washing work areas, refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls and floors Assembling, maintaining and breaking down the dish machine

Responsibilities



Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including dish utility areas, utensils, equipment, and adhering to health and safety regulations Follow all proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices Support kitchen operations by organizing supplies, restocking stations, and ensuring all necessary equipment, utensils and cookware are readily available As needed, will also assist with unloading truck and stocking supplies

Skills



Proven experience in food service environments such as restaurants, hotels, or catering settings Knowledge of dishwashing and utility techniques and safety standards Ability to perform bussing duties efficiently while maintaining cleanliness standards Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene, cleaning protocols, and food handling regulations Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their culinary expertise while supporting a lively food service environment. Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
