Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping and mopping as needed. Assist with food preparation tasks as required, including bussing tables and helping cooks with basic food handling. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak service times.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere within the hospitality industry. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards. Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks within the culinary setting, including catering or hotel environments if applicable.
