Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen and dining areas. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will ensure that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized to meet health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all items are properly stored after cleaning. Assist in food preparation as needed by washing vegetables or preparing ingredients. Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with company policies. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager. Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Skills

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact effectively with team members. Basic understanding of food safety practices is preferred but not required. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks. Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks as needed.
