Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient PM Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Dishwasher plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff and providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Assist in food preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff to support culinary operations. Ensure that all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards. Organize and store clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas promptly. Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely service during busy periods, especially during banquets or large events. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen as needed. Familiarity with food handling safety regulations is advantageous.
