Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are properly cleaned and organized. This role is essential for supporting smooth kitchen operations and providing a clean environment for food preparation and service. Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality settings is preferred but not required. Duties

Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards Assist with bussing tables and clearing plates during meal service Support food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and ingredients Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper disposal of waste Help with basic food handling tasks in accordance with food safety regulations Support catering events or banquet setups by providing timely dishwashing and cleaning services Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean, organized, and sanitary at all times Follow all safety procedures related to food handling and cleaning processes

Skills

Experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is highly desirable Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for dishes, cookware, and kitchen surfaces Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety standards Good communication skills to work effectively with team members Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary
