Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is vital to the overall efficiency of our restaurant operations and contributes significantly to our commitment to providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and disposing of waste. Assist kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed, including bussing tables and helping cooks during busy periods. Ensure that all dishware is organized and stored properly after cleaning. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager promptly.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with kitchen operations and food preparation processes is a plus. Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen. Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required by the role.
