We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dishwashing station, ensuring all kitchenware, utensils, and equipment are sanitized and ready for use. This role is essential in supporting the overall efficiency of our food service operations, whether in a restaurant, hotel, catering, or banquet setting. Candidates with experience in food handling, food service, or hospitality environments will find this position aligns well with their skills and career goals.
Responsibilities
Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment following health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper storage of clean items
Support food preparation tasks such as basic food handling and assisting in food service when required
Ensure all dishes are returned to their proper storage locations after cleaning
Follow sanitation procedures to uphold hygiene standards in the kitchen environment
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service times
Experience
Prior experience in food service, restaurant, catering, or hospitality environments is required
Experience with bussing tables, food preparation, or banquet service is a plus
Familiarity with cleaning procedures in a commercial kitchen setting is advantageous
Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is beneficial
Previous kitchen or culinary experience can help in understanding the workflow and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
