Duties

Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently throughout each shift Assist with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or portioning ingredients as needed under supervision Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all serving ware and equipment are clean and ready for use Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items for food service operations Assist with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold sanitation standards

Experience

Previous experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with food service operations, including bussing tables or supporting food preparation, is advantageous Experience in banquet settings or catering events adds value but is not mandatory Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards is beneficial Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this energetic role
